ABOUT US
The Employers’ Retirement Association was formed in 1981 for those employers who do wish to maintain contact with their pensioners. Membership is open to all employers, and associate membership is available to national organisations with special interest in the field of retirement.
An elected council administers the Association and conferences are held to exchange information and discuss new developments and problems.
We are a registered charity and a registered company, limited by guarantee. Membership is open to any company for a nominal fee and there is an associate members category for charities and similar organisations.
There is no right or wrong way of caring for ex-employees, and the approach differs considerably from one organisation to another.
