How We Work
An elected council administers the Association and conferences are held to exchange information and discuss new developments and problems. Topics considered in the past have included: Finance in Retirement and Dealing with Debt, Housing Options, and Transition into Retirement.
One of our main tasks is to help members from the experience of others. In addition, we run Training Days and Workshops for members to improve their skills in support of retired people. Informal Workshops are being held regularly to discuss and exchange views on such topics as: Data Protection and Website Information, The changing role of the Retiree Welfare officer, and many more.
